Celebrate AAPI Joy every day this month and always 🌸 May is Asian/ Pacific American Heritage Month 🌸 Throughout the month, I’ll be sharing some personal art and stories of my fondest memories growing up API in Los Angeles on my Instagram page to not only celebrate my Filipino + Chinese heritage but also to share how these experiences have molded me into the person I am today.Â
In response to the increase of Anti-Asian hate crimes, and in the midst of supporting organizations that are doing the work to uplift Asian voices, I believe it’s more important than ever that we shine a light on our own stories in order to break down Asian American stereotypes and celebrate the incredibly beautiful diversity of the Asian community.
Throughout the month of May, I will also be donating a portion of my sales to AAPI Women Lead, an organization that is doing important work to uplift Asian American women and our shared experiences. Additionally, I'll be highlighting my favorite AAPI small businesses in my weekly newsletter!
