Lunar New Year Paper Collage Workshop
Location: Nellita's Craft - 248 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012
In an effort to help those who have been directly affected by the Los Angeles Wildfires, we at Nellita's Craft along with Kristina Yu have decided to turn this workshop into a fundraising effort. A portion of the proceeds from this workshop will be donated to Mutual Aid Los Angeles Network which uses their funds to reach and support smaller, local mutual aid efforts across the city who are doing direct, on-the-ground work for LA Wildfire Relief. Additionally, workshop tickets have also been updated to reflect a sliding scale of $25 - $60 with a select number of seats available for each ticket option.
In this workshop, I will provide templates and guidance as we use watercolors to explore a variety of color combinations in our own styles and then turn those designs into a creative collage. Attendees will leave with with a paper collage piece celebrating the year of the snake or their very own zodiac animal. All art skill levels welcome. Materials will be provided.
